The perfect drink for those who want a Smoked Bloody Mary with brunch, but prefer beer. This smoky drink comes together in minutes with a smoking gun.

Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1

Ingredients:

Cedar Skewers
Cherry Smoking Chips
2 oz. Beef
½ Tbsp. Soy Sauce
Pinch Cumin
½ Tbsp. Oil
1 Garlic Clove, minced
12 oz. Beer of choice
4 oz. Tomato Juice
Dash Tabasco Sauce

Chef's Tip

The longer you trap the smoke in the glass the more apparent the smoke flavor will be.

Directions:

  1. Preheat the grill to 500°F and soak the skewer in water for several minutes.
  2. Cut the beef into long strips and mix with the soy, cumin, oil and garlic.
  3. Put the beef on the skewer and place on the grill. Cook for 2 minutes per side.
  4. Add the beer to a chilled glass and top with tomato juice and tabasco, stir. Be sure to leave at least 2 inches between the beverage and the top of the glass.
  5. Using a smoking gun, ignite the chips and gently blow smoke into the glass.
  6. Top with a small grilling plank or coaster to trap the smoke.
  7. Garnish with the beef skewer and cheers!

*Keep a spray bottle of water handy in case of flare-ups.
