This Cherry planked chicken will make all your autumn dreams come true! With a delicious, sweet topping of apples and pears, this recipe is the perfect combination of savory, sweet and smoky. Bonus: You can make this recipe in your oven, or on the grill.

Ingredients:
- Wildwood Grilling 5×11″ Cherry Plank
- 2 Chicken Breasts
- 1 small Apple
- 1 small Pear
- 1/4 cup Cranberries, dried
- 1 Tbsp. Cane Sugar
- 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- Optional: Green Beans
Chef's Tip
Instead of cane sugar,
you can also use
a drizzle of honey to
get that sweet flavor.
Directions:
- Soak the Cherry plank in hot water for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven or grill to 400°F.
- Cut apple and pear into small diced pieces.
- Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic, salt & pepper and cane sugar. Place on plank.
- Top chicken with apples, pears and cranberries.
- Add plank to grill and cook for 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked. Prepare green beans as desired.
- When done, remove from grill or oven and serve with green beans.
