Pumpkin spice season is here, and since we’ll never beat it we decided to make it into crazy delicious ribs. We love ribs and trying new things. Forget desert, these ribs do the trick!

  • 1 Cup Hickory Smoking Chips
  • 2 Rack of Pork Ribs
  • 1 Cup Sweet BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbs. Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 2 Tbs. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbs. Dry Mustard

Chef's Tip

Adding the sauce a few hours before cooking allows the ribs to marinate and take on more flavors from the sauce.


  1. Soak the Hickory chips in water for 5 minutes
  2. Preheat oven or grill to 350°F
  3. Prepare the sauce by combining mixing sugars, pumpkin spice, dry mustard, garlic and BBQ sauce
  4. Brush BBQ sauce on liberally
  5. Put chips in smoker or directly on coals, place ribs on the grill and brush with more sauce every 15 minutes
  6. Cook until desired tasty level has been reached.(we did 1 hour)
