Chef's Tip

Serve the Steak and
Lobster Tails with a
side salad and a
glass of your favorite
wine. Don’t know which
wine to pair with cherry
planks? We can help.

  1. Soak Cherry Planks in hot water for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to 400°F.
  3. Place Rib Eye on one of the pre-soaked planks with the garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the plank on the grill, close lid and cook for 15 minutes or until the rib eye is medium-rare.
  5. While the steak is cooking, mix the butter, lemon zest and fresh thyme in a small bowl.
  6. Remove the rib eye from grill, top with the 1-2 Tablespoons of the lemon thyme butter and then let it rest while cooking the lobster tails.
  7. Brush the lobster with more of the butter mixture.
  8. Place the 2 lobster tails on the other Cherry Plank and add to the grill.
  9. Grill for 10 minutes until fully cooked.
  10. Have a spray bottle of water handy for flare-ups.
  11. Slice the steak to share. Serve with the lobster tails and extra lemon thyme butter.
  12. Enjoy!
