We tried this out on Alder as a traditional flavor profile utilizing Tilapia, which is not a commonly grilled fish. This could be a great way to bump up the flavor of a very affordable and mild fish.

- 3 Tilapia Filets

- 1 Ts Chili Powder

Chef's tip
For a bolder flavor try using a Cedar Plank.
Directions
- Soak the plank in hot water for at least 15 minutes and preheat grill to 400°F.
- Pat Tilapia dry and set on the soaked plank.
- Combine the salt and chili powder and divide evenly between fillets by sprinkling over the fish.
- Set the plank on the grill and close the lid. While the fish cooks combine the green onion, cilantro, bell pepper and cilantro, set aside.
- Halve the lime and set cut side down on the grill for 1 minute to create grill marks.
- Remove the plank from the grill after 10 minutes or until desired doneness is reached, garnish with the slaw.
- Squeeze lime juice over to serve and enjoy.
