Total Time: 1 hour
Servings: 10

Ingredients:

  • 2 – 5” x 11” Alder Planks

  • 3 lbs. Brussel Sprouts

  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil

  • 1 Tbsp. Black Pepper

  • 1 Tbsp. Kosher Salt

  • 12 Shallots, peeled and halved

  • 1 Lemon, zested

Chef's Tip

No one likes under cooked sprouts, so don’t be afraid to try one for that nice tender crunch before removing from the grill.

Directions:

  1. Soak the planks in hot water for at least 15 minutes and preheat the grill to 375°F.
  2. Clean and cut the brussel sprouts and shallots in half and toss with oil, salt and pepper. Place cut side down on the planks and set on the grill, close the lid for 30 minutes or until tender.
  3. Remove the sprouts and shallots from the grill and top with fresh grated lemon zest.
  4. Enjoy!

*Keep a spray bottle of water handy in case of flare-ups.
